Sliding Scale Film Production Workshops At Northwest Film Forum!
by Anne Miller April 1, 2022 0
Northwest Film Forum is continuing its ongoing series of modular film production workshops designed to provide young and emerging filmmakers with training on the fundamentals of film. The Production Intensives workshop series is offered quarterly and provides training on essential skills for people who want to apprentice with Remove the Gap Productions (RG Pro), who are entering the production industry, or who are creating their own film and media projects. Eligible participants who complete the entire series have the opportunity to become an apprentice of our production company, RG Pro. Workshops begin on April 16th and run through May 29th.
NWFF also has a Filmmaking Fundamentals: Narrative-Production program, that focuses on leading participants through all the stages of development for a scripted, narrative film. This program is comprised of two individual cohorts, that will meet on either Mondays or Tuesdays, that will work collaboratively on a short film while also learning fundamental skills essential to narrative filmmaking. The cohorts will meet for 8 weeks and will culminate in a filming day for their script.
All workshops are sliding scale, pay-what-you-can. Pay as you are able to help make the workshops accessible to all. For more information or to register for NWFF’s upcoming workshops please visit their website.
