The Meaningful Movies Project is postponing our Spring Fundraiser and Awards Celebration due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We are tentatively rescheduling it for the Fall.

We have also advised all local Meaningful Movies Groups to follow the recommendations of their county, state and federal officials which means that most events are being canceled. As an organization, we deeply value and strive to build community and support peace and justice in all of the work that we do. We are working hard to find creative ways to support our Meaningful Movies group leaders so that they can continue to foster community discussions and action through social justice documentaries. We are working directly with filmmakers to provide digital access to documentaries that educate, inspire and move people to action to support vulnerable peoples and peace and justice.

Join us on Thursday, May 7th at 6 pm for our second annual Spring Fundraiser and Awards Celebration. We will honor films, filmmakers, and volunteers that have made the past year our best one yet. We hope you can join us for this special celebration. Tickets are available here. Ticket prices are set at three levels ($75, $100, $125) and you can choose the ticket price that fits with your budget.
