Beacon Hill Meaningful Movies Celebrates their First Year Anniversary with the film “SWEET DREAMS”

by December 29, 2014 1

On Friday June 19th, 7:00 PM, Beacon Hill Meaningful Movies will celebrat their 1st Anniversary!

LIMITED SEATING – ARRIVE EARLY!

The film for the evening is a great one: “SWEET DREAMS” – a touching and uplifting story set in Rwanda.  A women’s drumming troupe, formed as part of the continuing reconciliation effort following the devastating genocide that took place in 1994, decide to open Rwanda’s first ice cream shop to spark badly needed economic development.

See this amazing film, and help them celebrate their first year of great movies, meaningful community discussions and continuing service to the neighborhood.

Free ice cream treats! (…drumsticks, of course). Several people who have visited Rwanda since the genocide will attend the film and stay for the discussion.

There’s more information on the evening’s events HERE.

Beacon Hill Meaningful Movies – Doors open at 6:15, Movie starts at 7:00
Free Movies, Free Popcorn!  Community Discussions follow the films.

What a blast this was. A gigantic thanks to Simone LaDrumma and (amazing) Friends, Brooke Greiner & Larry Thomas for all their inspiration, support and hard work on the planning and implementation of this event!
