About Our Group:
Meaningful Movies at First Church Seattle presents documentary films on social justice and the environment quarterly on Sunday afternoons from noon to 2 p.m. A forum for open discussion follows each film. Our purpose is to educate, build community, and work together for justice, peace, and a sustainable environment. We are an all-volunteer group, based in First Church Seattle (First United Methodist Church of Seattle), a progressive spiritual community advocating for the homeless and hungry, and creating a refuge of inclusive Christianity. We are not affiliated with any political organization. Everyone is welcome.
