ParticipantFeature film, 95 minutes long, 2014 about legendary diver, environmentalist, and inventor, Sylvia Earle. This film shows the impact that we have had on the oceans, and is a call to action to knock it off. Beautiful cinematography. Very high production value, and a compelling overview of this strong and passionate woman’s life, so far. Her organization is determined to create the opposites of ocean deadzones and hotspots worldwide: Hopespots, and they are doing it. We can be a part of this effort and multiply the impact. I’m very interested to hear what you think of the film, Rick. You have a lot more experience in evaluating the quality of documentaries than I do. But I really enjoyed it, and it gave me hope. I would love the chance to spread that hope via the MM network, if it’s a film that we decide we want and can obtain screening rights for. 🙂
