Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story (2014) – This film was proposed to us by the Ciy of Seattle Waste Prevention Program, in partneship with the natural Resources Defense Council’s national campaign on eliminating food waste. This was first proposed last June (2015), and has been postponed several times due to NRDC regrouping.
We counter proposed that we might offer this to the network for a multi-venue screening.  These would come with free screening rights to those of us in the Seattle city limits; Also, King Co. is offering the same deal for those out in King Co.  The City/County will also provide speakers and resources about their campaigns, as part of the agreement t extend screening rights to us.  …Good little film, BTW.

The latest from the City is that they are delaying again until May/June.  It will still be an offering of free screening rights to venues both in Seattle and King Co., as long as they include City/County participation.  We’ll post more info as we learn more.

What are our options for screening rights in January? Also, then, what will be the planned network movie in Jan/Feb?
