The movie documents Malala Yousafzai’s efforts
at obtaining equal education for girls / women in Pakistan, and includes
events leading up to her being shot, then recovering and receiving the
Nobel Prize and making a speech 3 years ago at the Youth Assembly of
the United Nations.
