“The True Cost” reveals the high price of the low-cost “fast” fashion industry, from toxic production to rapid waste, from low-wage workers to carcinogenic pollution, pesticides, and death. Showing more environmentally just and wiser options, the film includes people organizing for fair trade and sustainable clothing production. After the film, speakers from Seattle Zero Waste and other groups will answer questions, lead discussion, and give options for action.

Free refreshments provided. Doors open at 6PM.
