This film from Helen Young highlights the work of her friend, the late Father William β€œBix” Bichsel, and confirms the need to eliminate nuclear weapons. The film follows two cases: the July 2012 break-in at the site known as America’s β€œFort Knox of Uranium” where the intruders were an 82-year old Catholic nun and two fellow peace activists, and the 2009 Plowshares action near Seattle, WA – at the Bangor U.S. naval base. It follows the activists’ legal efforts to justify their actions under international law and highlights the power of their moral conviction.

Since the film was premiered at the United Nations in 2017, it has screened at high schools, universities, churches and community centers from Maine to California.
