Targeting-Iran-Film-Poster-3_3x100TARGETING IRAN examines many political, historical, economic, military and cultural aspects of U.S./Iranian tensions that are often neglected by the corporate media – in particular the myths and popular misconceptions that surround Iran’s nuclear aspirations. The film is based on the themes of David Barsamian’s 2008 book, Targeting Iran.

All of this is made newly relevant, of course, by the current political fight over the “Iran deal” that is being considered by congress and extoled/vilified by presidential hopefuls.

TARGETING IRAN features emininent thinkers such as MIT’s Jim Walsh, National Iranian American Council President and author of ‘A Single Roll of the Dice’ Trita Parsi, Noam Chomsky, veteran New York Times correspondent Stephen Kinzer and David Barsamian himself.

Release Year: 2013

Running Time: 71 mins

Director: Andy Norris
