n\nI\n\nWe are fortunate to have REFLECTING RESILIENCE as our Opening Film
by Director Lindy Boustedt. SHARE is a program where screenwriting and f
ilmmaking are used as a redemptive tool for incarcerated communities aroun
d the State of Washington that might not otherwise have a voice. In this s
hort film\, we interviewed SHARE students at Echo Glen High School\, a juv
enile detention facility in King County\, WA\, what resilience looks like
and means to them.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur Feature Film will be TUPUNGATO - Empa
thy in Death. It follows Rafael Pease’s six-year obsession of visibilizi
ng a threatened area. A winter expedition to the highest peak\, Volcan Tup
 ungato 21\,555ft\, evolves into a fight for conservation.\n\n[caption id="
 attachment_260403" align="alignright" width="405"] The team (Rafeal Pease\
, Jeremy Anderson\, Erich Roepke and Joonas Mattila) approaches the mining
company “DANGER” signs enroute to Tupungato\, a 21\,550 ft. Strato Vo
lcano in the Central Andes\, Chile[/caption]\n\nJn hopes of creating a nat
ional park\, containing 350\,000acres in one of the world's biodiversity h
otspots\, as well as a significant source of water for 40% of Chile’s po
pulation. Interviews with renowned scientists and activists unveil a web o
f corruption in the government and multinational corporations\, stemming f
rom imperial religion and a dictator's constitution. This explosive film i
s set against the backdrop of historic protests\, as the people of Chile r
ise up for social and environmental rights.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nJoin
us for a Q&amp\;A Discussion with our filmmakers:\n\n\n\nLindy Boustedt is

together\, get to know each other and build community. We believe strong c
onnections among neighbors are key to our common humanity\; our mission is
to be the heart of the Mount Baker community. The Community Club hosts ev
