The Meaningful Movies Project is honored to again co-present the Social Justice Film Festival and we hope you will join us to celebrate this year’s festival at their closing event!

The Black Lives Matter movement has sparked a national reckoning over institutional and police violence, and while some things have changed, too much has remained the same. We will close out ACTIVATE | REFUGE, the 2021 Social Justice Film Festival, with a discussion of the Black Lives Matter movement and the role of filmmaking as catalyst and fuel for change.

This free panel discussion accompanies the films in the BLACK LIVES MATTER AND THE ART OF ACTIVISM program (https://watch.eventive.org/sjff2021/play/613030d582b0ef0030a7f845).
