Remembering the Songs

In observance of Native American Heritage Month, two films will be shown. Remembering the Songs is a humble tribute to honor the tradition of song and story. The other will be a TEDtalk about the Lakota of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Following the films, we will discuss the politics (particularly social injustices) and arts, including a demonstration of the Native American flute by local musician Gary Stroutsos.
