SUMMARY:My Mother Was Here
DESCRIPTION:Please join Meaningful Movies Port Townsend and our special gue
st filmmaker Rustin Thompson for an online screening of the award-winning\
, locally produced\, and very personal My Mother Was Here. We'll watch the
film together on Zoom (registration details below) and have a Q&amp\;A se
ssion following the film. It's like the Meaningful Movies you're used to\,
but online!\n\nDonna is 84-years old. She lives alone on the property she
's owned for over half a century in rural Washington State\, with a mobile
home and a house that are both cluttered with junk. She exists on a schoo
 l bus driver's pension\, social security\, and Medicare. She's never had a
credit card\, never voted\, and never flown on an airplane. Quietly stubb
orn\, she is estranged from all surviving members of her family\, except f
or one -- her son\, the filmmaker -- who rarely visits her. When her healt
h begins to fail\, she calls on him.\n\nPLEASE NOTE: This screening will b
e hosted online via Zoom only\; there is no physical event. REGISTRATION I
 S REQUIRED! Please visit https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJMvcOqvqjotGtN3
O9O5hy1R7CRnJNwwBCcq to register.\n\nContact Meaningful Movies via Faceboo
k or email (meaningfulmoviespt@outlook.com) if you have any questions.
