When there is nowhere to go, nowhere is home. –Ai Weiwei. Over 65 million people have been displaced from their homes due to climate disasters, war, and poverty. Ai Weiwei travels around the world to meet refugees as they seek peace and freedom. He brings light to the obstacles that refugees face, including fences, erratic entry laws and other hostilities, as they attempt to navigate border crossings. He befriends individuals living in temporary tent communities while waiting out the uncertainty of their futures.

“Human Flow” challenges us to ask ourselves whether we will choose respect for one another or fear each other.

The movie will begin at 6:30pm and runs 140 minutes. The event is FREE to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated!

Special Guests: We are honored to have Rita Zawaidah as our special guest for the evening. Her Seattle-based Salaam Cultural Museum has sent humanitarian assistance to Syrian refugees in Jordan and medical assistance to Gaza for many years.
