DO THE MATH is a profoundly to-the-point documentary produced by 350.org which
tells the story of the grassroots movements trying to change the tragic outcomes
of climate change and their adversaries in the fossil fuel industry. Using simple
math, this fi lm reveals the hard facts about climate change. In November 2012, Bill
McKibben and 350.org hit the road to build a movement strong enough to change
the terrifying math of the climate crisis.
The DO THE MATH TOUR was a massive success in every corner of the country,
and is this fi lm documents the highlights. As founder of 350.org, Bill McKibben
states: “We can emit 565 more gigatons of carbon dioxide and stay below 2°C of
warming — anything more than that risks catastrophe for life on earth.”
