Coral reefs are dying around the world at an unprecedented rate. A building block of the marine ecosystem and crucial to the livelihoods of hundreds of millions of people around the world, coral reefs are one of the lifeforms we are most likely to lose if we reach 2°C of warming.

A team of divers and researchers launched an ambitious project to reveal the unseen story occurring beneath the water. Get to know the team, how they pulled it off, and how the project impacted them as they witnessed coral bleaching first-hand.

Their grief and our own are hard things to bear as we look the extinction crisis in the face. But by coming together to take collective action locally, we can begin to address the climate crisis and help protect the “tropical forests of the ocean.”

Come join us for this Netflix original documentary and a community discussion, and learn about ways to get involved on climate with 350 Seattle.
