Join us for two films exploring practical paths toward a healthier, more sustainable future. Chasing Carbon Zero takes a clear-eyed, hopeful look at the scientific and technological efforts aimed at helping the U.S. reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050—from renewable energy and building efficiency to rethinking transportation—while also addressing the social and economic hurdles involved. Paired with it is the 15-minute educational version of Idle Threat, a lively portrait of one man’s determined campaign in New York City to reduce vehicle idling and improve public health. Together, these films highlight both large-scale climate solutions and the power of individual action.
