“Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone (if you’re a girl)” – Oscar-nominated Documentary short subject. This film tells the story of young Afghan girls learning to read, write — and skateboard — in Kabul. (Carol Dysinger, 40 min, USA).

“Hurdle” – In the shadow of a wall stands a new generation of Palestinians. With defiant creativity they prove that no matter the height of the obstacle, one can always climb. (Michael Rowley, 87 min, USA)
