SUMMARY:"Activized" with film director Eric Stange
DESCRIPTION:Join Meaningful Movies in Kirkland and film director Eric Stang
e for a discussion of "Activized."  Updated this year\, the film follows
the stories of seven ordinary Americans who\, for the first time in their
lives\, have left their comfort zones and become involved in gun violence
prevention\, voting rights and immigrants’ rights. Interweaving their pe
rsonal stories against the backdrop of the causes they fight for\, we expe
rience their motivations\, successes and failures\, their sacrifices\, and
victories. Above all\, we celebrate these inspiring\, courageous citizens
for embracing one of the most basic of American traditions – dissent.\n
\nPlease register for the discussion at this address. We will send a link
and password to view the film as soon as you register\, and you will be ab
le to use this link to view the film until after our discussion with Eric
Stange.\n\nFollow Meaningful Movies in Kirkland on Facebook
