DESCRIPTION:Now\, more than ever\, we need positive voices in the ecologica
 l crisis. Join us in watching "2040\," director Damon Gameau's "exercise i
 n fact-based dreaming."  Using only the solutions that are available to u
 s today\, Damon envisions a positive future for our children and planet.\n
 \nThe film takes a solutions-based approach to how we can mitigate\, using
  the technology we already have\, the enormous global issues we currently 
 face. The main themes/solutions looked at in the film are around: empowerm
 ent of women and girls\; marine regeneration\; regenerative agriculture\; 
 renewable energy\; and circular economy. It's a story of hope\, and a powe
 rful tool to encourage people to take action.\n\nThe Meaningful Movies Pro
 ject\, in collaboration with Social Justice Film Festival\, is making this
  film available to watch on your own\, and then we invite you to join us f
 or a community conversation organized by your local Meaningful Movies grou
