After 13 years, Wallingford moves to monthly screenings

by August 10, 2015 2

After nearly 13 years of screening social justice documentary films every Friday night, Meaningful Movies in Wallingford (formally Friday Night at the Meaningful Movies and the incubator for The Meaningful Movies Project) has decided that the time has come to align with the other Meaningful Movies groups around the Puget Sound region with just a single screening each month.

We’re moving to one screening on the first Friday of each month at 7 PM, starting on Sept. 4th with “THE YES MEN ARE REVOLTING” – more info HERE.

The long-term goal for The Meaningful Movies Project has been to evolve to a point where opportunities to see these high quality films and engage in substantive dialog are dispersed to multiple locations rather than concentrated in a single geographical location.  Soon we hope to have venues located within easy reach of virtually every neighborhood in the Puget Sound area, and are beginning to support venues well beyond this.

Thanks to all of you who have supported us through the years, and please join us in celebrating this milestone!
