MEANINGFUL MOVIES ONLINE EVENTS

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Meaningful Movies is still doing movie events, but with a different approach than before.

You watch the documentary at home at your convenience and then you can participate in a virtual community discussion via Zoom.

Note that ALL Meaningful Movies online events are open to
everyone. The exciting part about virtual events is that you can attend discussions that you might not be able to otherwise.

. Check out our upcoming events below and join us for one or all of these events!

GiveBIG WASHINGTON

Click here to participate in GiveBIG and donate to Meaningful Movies!

Thirty percent of the annual Meaningful Movies Project revenue normally comes from our Awards Celebration & Fundraising Dinner. That is $30,000 that we need to maintain the work of supporting our 29 Meaningful Movies groups across Washington state and beyond.
Due to the pandemic, our fundraising dinner had to be canceled, so we're asking you now, if you're at all able, to make a donation to us during GiveBig Washington.

Meaningful Movies is an accessible, welcoming, and empowering community where we can take a breath and connect with our neighbors – both local and global. Our gatherings, whether online or in person, support independent filmmakers, our local organizations, and all of us who take part. Thank you for considering a donation to us!

Please help support us with your tax-deductible donation!
We want to continue bringing you the great movie events you've come to know and appreciate!

Thank You!

We are a 501c3 Washington State Nonprofit (EIN 80-0782680) and are solely dependent on your donations. We are a predominantly volunteer-run organization, (only one part-time staff person); donations are needed to continue bringing you high-quality, relevant documentary films, AND to help us establish more venues so more people can participate. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Many employers have Matching Gift programs where they'll double the donations made by their employees and retirees (e.g., Adobe, Alaska Airlines, Boeing, Costco, Microsoft, Starbucks,  etc.). Please check if your employer is one of these, and if so, submit your matching gift requests to them so that your donation can go even further. Thank you!

Also, some employers have Volunteer Grant programs where the company donates money to organizations for every hour its employees volunteer (e.g., Boeing, Microsoft, Alaska Airlines, etc). So come volunteer with us if you can!
