Rick Turner, founder of The Meaningful Movies Project, passed away on December 16, 2016 from an acute flare-up of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a disease he was diagnosed with 6 years earlier.  Rick had also been diagnosed in 2016 with acute myeloid leukemia,
